Rolex Deepsea Challenge as the first RLX titanium watch
The Rolex Deepsea Challenge was the first RLX titanium watch made by Rolex, this makes Rolex’s first titanium watch, it is made of light metal which makes it easy and light for the Deepsea Challenge to be wearable and withstand water resistance, the titanium was reduced to 30 percent from the experiment carried out by James Cameron in 2012. The diameter is 50mm which is also 23mm thick and was developed for proper use for everyone. It can hold on to a lot of pressure giving it best as a diver watch.
Ringlock system of Deepsea challenge
On one side it is mounted with crystal and the case back side is made with titanium. The design made to this is to help it reduce the weight on the case which will divert the pressure on the watch. The watch is also made with a helium escape valve to let water escape freely and safely at the time of diving during decompression, it also helps the crystal to hold still and not pop off during the period of pressure changes.
The ring on the ringlock system also serves its purpose as the bodyguard of the case which gives strong stability to the watch and also provides movement.
With the ringlock made by Rolex to the Deepsea watch, the watch can hold about 35,787 feet making it part of the watch that can hold huge water resistance.
