Best Omega Watches

What you should choose when considering the Best Omega Watches

Although the most popular Omega watches are Omegas Seamaster and Speedmaster collections, Specialties has produced some pretty amazing watches as well. Second, only to Seamaster on the list of well-known OMEGA watch collections is Speedmaster. Omegas’ three most notable pro watches are the Seamaster, Speedmaster (more on this below), and, the Railmaster.

The first of those watches is an Omega Speedmaster ProfessionalSnoopy Limited Edition, Reference #3578.51.00, with 5,441 pieces. This watch features the Omegas standard case, bracelet, and movement of a 2003 Speedmaster Professional, but it does have a less-than-minor addition. The Omega Speedmaster was not just the first watch to set foot on the Moon; it is often the first serious watch in the budding collector’s collection, and a standard Moonwatch reference with bracelet sells for less than $5,500 new, making it one of the more affordable icons on the market today.

Omegas professional Speedmaster Moonwatch is available with a bracelet or a leather band, and prices begin at $5,950, making it an excellent value among the newest chronographs. If you are looking for a dive watch that looks just as good as it functions, you certainly cannot go wrong with one of Omega’s 11 options for Speedmasters, which are currently offered by other brands.

If the Omegas line of Seamasters is among the best dive watches in history, the Planet Ocean Off-Shoot is a culmination of all of that history in one set of well-chosen, excellent watches. Doubling the waterproofing of the 300m-rated Seamster Diver Classic, Planet Ocean is Omegas’ most competent professional dive watch lineup (not counting super-specialty models such as the Ploprof). The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is Omega’s second-most-capable dive watch.

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is a Master Chronometer certified watch that was first produced in 2005. The best- known and most widely owned Omega timepiece ever made is the Planet Ocean 600M, a divers chronograph with solid red gold. The Seamaster Planet Ocean is similar to the Seamaster Professional 300M, but offers the ability for 600M water resistance, and is considered one of the best dive watches available today. Other diver watches by Omega include the Seamaster Planet Ocean and the Omega Seamaster Professional Diver 300M, both with the Helium Release Valve.

Featuring the model’s iconic waved dial and manually operated helium escape valve on the 10th, Omegas Speedmaster watches are an ideal combination of stylish styling with the features of professional diving watches. At the same time, the Seamaster range has included some of the 20th century’s greatest, rugged, and highly technical dive watches from watchmakers. Just like the Speedmaster series, the Omegas Seamaster Heritage line is Omegas playground for the vintage. Omega has a dedicated factory in Biel, and there, Omega makes its own steel Speedmaster moon watches using the Calibre 321.
